Through the process of sketching and modeling various iterations I began to recognize patterns in my making process.

The Making Process

IMG_2988.jpg

A turning point came when we began molding forms in response to the body. By pressing, folding, and curving materials to human anatomy, I began to understand “organic” not as a style, but as a relationship. The hand itself became the mold—defining scale, grip, and proportion. I realized how our hands naturally create handheldness, how they seek tactility and comfort. These interactions grounded my work in human experience rather than abstract geometry.
